After seeing so many pics of Matcha cupcakes, I felt like I needed to see what the hype was about.
Matcha is all the rage lately, and the green cupcakes were sooo pretty! I had to give them a try. I peered the net for anything with more than four stars because I was sort of skeptical about taste.
A nasty cupcake is a recipe for an unhappy me.
The first recipe I tried was a recipe found on Food Network, something done on Cupcake Wars. I, honestly, the recipe to a tee and ended up with tough little muffin-like cakes instead of fluffy cuppycakes.
It was then that I put my baking skills to challenge and decided to create my very own Matcha Cupcake Recipe.
The result was a light and airy cupcake that tasted like a Matcha dream.
