There I was, on the prowl for spring inspiration, and the likes of art gave me just a glimpse of hope as I wind down this spring project.
I recently had an opportunity to glimpse at beautiful vintage pieces where I found a remarkable story to tell.
The great thing…
It’s a story that I can pull from my notes to use at a later time.
The not so great thing…
It’s not the story that I feel will work for this particular set of products, which means I have to come up with a story that will work for now and, truthfully, I’m getting a bit short on time.
Well, after peeking at a two-hour long documentary about French Couture and immersing myself in oil paintings, I had a little light bulb go off in my mind. It was like bright sunshine after three weeks of fog.
Sometimes you know what you’re looking for and you can soar with an idea. Other times, your idea is like a broker starter in a car. You keep turning it and you get that irritating sound of the ignition not turning over.
I’m telling you. I ran across some of the most interesting and beautiful pieces in my search, and each piece gave me something different that I’m going to use in the creation of my new project. Just take a look at a few of the inspirational pieces I ran across.
You’ll probably wonder how I got something from them or how they’ll be pieced together.
If you look closely, you may be able to see some similarities in the midst of the drastic differences in the paintings and fashion.

Did you see similarities? Anything can be inspiring. Just look around you and find similarities (or even differences) that are striking and that move you. Then tell others what you see in your own special way.
